The Internet has spoken. Michael Bay concedes to internet pressure to cast Mark Wahlberg in Transformers 4.

Michael Bay originally quashed an Internet rumour that Mark Wahlberg would be in Transformers 4 saying we're working on another movie together not T4.

But he says that the chatter online gave him some ideas and they're now at the inception of the story process.

So well done internet people!

He added, "Mark is awesome, we had a blast working on Pain and Gain and I'm so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of this caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers legacy"

Former Transformers star Shia LaBeouf quit the franchise last year after three movies even telling MTV that he didn't think there was anywhere to take his character Sam.

Well now it looks like Mark has the next one firmly in the bag and if he works out he could sail on Bumblebee's back right into a ton more movies. The Internet has spoken.
