The Ledger in Lakeland, Fla. reported. Her husband is being held at a local county jail on attempted first-degree murder charges, among other charges. Police say he allegedly threw gasoline on Megan before setting her on fire on Aug. 3. She ran out of the house, where neighbors helped extinguish the flames with blankets. More than 80 percent of her body was burned, and she underwent 12 skin grafts surgeries in the months since.
