smashed international records and has now placed itself as the eighth biggest domestic opening of all time with $141.3 million at the box office -- the second best for the franchise!
The worldwide total for Breaking Dawn Part 2 is already at $340.9 million, according to
Deadline.com! In the United States alone,
Breaking Dawn Part 2 earned $72.1 million on Friday Nov. 16, and earned $141.3 million during opening weekend, edging out
Breaking Dawn Part 1's $138.1 million! The only film in the saga to beat
BD2 is
New Moon's take of $142.8 in 2009. However, we feel that
BD2 may take in the biggest haul overall of any movie in the franchise! We'll have to wait until the end of its run to see! The
reviews are calling it a "gleefully over-the-top conclusion!" What do YOU think,
