He's not tender to hear about his donkey sauce getting dissed.
But TV chef Guy Fieri couldn't just sit back in silence after his new restaurant was, totally panned in the New York Times.
He went on the Today show to defend his Times Square eatery called Guy's American Kitchen & Bar saying that the review was ridiculous and the reviewer had another agenda.
Entitled "As not seen on TV" by critic Pete Wells the review consists of 34 scathing questions aimed directly at Guy, such as "Were you struck by how very far from awesome the 'Awesome Pretzel Chicken Tenders' are?" and "when we hear the words 'Donkey Sauce', which part of the donkey are we supposed to think about?"
Seed sown, thanks for the thought.
Today show presenter Savannah Guthrie also pointed out to Guy that 56 reviews on Yelp only gave it 2 and a half stars out of 5.
Mr Fieri admitted that the restaurant was "not really expecting to" knock people's socks off after having been open for just two months.
