The duo, who play on-off couple Serena and Dan in the hit series Gossip Girl, were spied filming scenes together for the sixth and final season in New York. 
Appearing to be shooting inside an Upper East Side penthouse apartment, the two stars looked like they were getting emotional before Blake stormed out of the building. 
With her blonde hair wrapped neatly in a bun atop her head, she resembled onscreen mum Kelly Rutherford as she showed off her amazing 5ft 10in figure. 
We wonder whether the awkwardness was between their characters or the actors, following Blake’s recent marriage to Ryan Reynolds.  
But after her surprise wedding, co-star Penn said he ‘couldn’t be happier’ for his ex, whom he dated from 2007 to 2010.
