Nicole Richie attended QVC's Shoes on Sale event at the Waldorf-Astoria in NYC last night. Fashion Star judge Nicole donned a lacy dress with a high neckline, paired with a braided bun, on the red carpet. Nicole has a QVC line of her own, in addition to her other collections, which include Winter Kate and House of Harlow. For 19 years, Shoes on Sale has given guests the opportunity to purchase designer footwear for a steal, with proceeds benefitting breast cancer research. This year's shopping soiree will be televised on QVC Oct. 24, and Nicole was thrilled to attend. She tweeted afterward, "Thank you QVC for including me in raising awareness to such an important cause. Inspiring night."
This is the second time in the past week Nicole has lent her time to helping others. Saturday, Nicole attended Teen Vogue's Fashion University to speak to young, aspiring designers. After a busy few days, she may be looking forward to heading back to the West Coast, where she and Joel Madden recently added a new dog, named Iro, to their family.
