
Plus, Pinocchio's back! (Sort of.)
It looks like we'll have to wait another week to find out WTF is going on with Emma (
Jennifer Morrison) and Snow (
Ginnifer Goodwin) in the enchanted forest.
Once Upon A Time's Oct. 7 episode was mostly dedicated to telling more of Regina's (
Lana Parrilla) back story -- specifically how Rumpelstiltskin (
Robert Carlyle) helped get Cora (
Barbara Hershey) off her back.
Still pissed at her mother for literally ripping out the heart of the man she loved — Regina's kind of a pro at grudge-holding — she summoned Rumpelstiltskin for a solution; and no, she didn't even have to say his name three times like Beetlejuice. Rumples gifted her with a special "looking glass" (
Alice in Wonderland, anyone?) along with the power to send Cora flying through it. (And how many of us wish we could have used
that little trick in high school?) So what strange, mystical land did Regina send her mother to? I'll get to that later.
Meanwhile, in Storybrooke...
The townsfolk learned that anyone who steps foot outside of Storybrooke instantly forgets who they really are — again — which one of the dwarves learned the hard way. So I have to ask: Where did
