
The former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader pled guilty on Oct. 8 to having sex with a 17-year-old student while she was a teacher at a Kentucky high school. As part of her plea deal, she will not serve jail time or register as a sex offender
Sarah Jones, a 27-year-old former NFL cheerleader, admitted in court on Oct. 9 to having sex with one of her underage students while she was a teacher at Dixie Heights High School. She left the courtroom hand-in-hand with the victim, who is now 18 years old.
Sarah pled guilty to custodial interference and sexual misconduct instead of more serious charges, which would have sent her to prison. She also does not have to register as a sex offender, but will have to undergo probation and drug tests. "I began a romantic relationship while he was a student and I was in a position of authority," she said in court. Although she walked out of court holding hands with the victim, her lawyer would not comment on their current relationship.
