The Real Housewives of New Jersey were in need of some real medical assistance during the taping of their reunion special.
"Xanax was being passed around like candy," Caroline Manzo's daughter, Lauren, told Us Weekly of the gathering, which took place September 7 in Atlantic City. "There was so much yelling, Andy [Cohen] was shouting at everybody to be quiet!"
What was the source of the screaming?
For one thing, Jacqueline Laurita claimed Teresa Giudice once confessed to her husband's infidelity.
"You walked in on your husband when he had somebody on the desk in his office," Laurita snapped at Giudice, who was sitting alongside Joe on the reunion sofa.
Melissa Gorga, meanwhile, took her sister-on-law to task for implying that Gorga was once a stripper.
"You don't get to sit here and play victim! Guess who the victim is? Me!" Gorga went off.
Indeed, at the end of the scripted day, it all came down on Teresa.
"This is 15 minutes of fame," Caroline Manzo said of the Real Housewives series. "You are going to wake up one day and be alone."
