Kid Rock and Sean Penn star in an unexpected, explicit and very amusing new short film about overcoming their political differences.

The clip, called “Americans,” first finds the famously liberal actor and the conservative rocker nearly coming to blows in a bar as they hit each other with increasingly over-the-top insults based on ideological stereotyping.
After a sobering newscast, the pair embark on an epic bromance, trying to bridge their political divide.
The message: “Thinking differently is what made this country great.”
