Heck, I cry when some chick from one of those craptastic VH-1 reality shows ends up finally getting hitched to her third baby's daddy. But I'm also a realist. With eyes. And half a brain (literally, just half, the doctors remain baffled) and we've seen this dance before. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds officially tied the knot this weekend and I'm not exactly sure why. I assume Ryan was gittin' into Blake's tender grits plenty fine without any official paperwork and I know Blake is not some dumb chick who didn't ignore the fact that Ryan Reynolds just divorced Scarlett Johansson after a marriage that apparently soured after just a few months. This isn't one of those general guy posts about 'why get married at all?' (albeit, that is an excellent question), but, really, celebrity on celebrity marriages -- we'll be ready for a rebounding Blake circa Summer 2013. Congratulations to the happy couple.
