But Whitman insists that Ann is just as forgettable as ever in the upcoming Season 4 of the series. "Does Ann change much? That's a good question," Whitman told Celebuzz at the recent Toronto press day for The Perks of Being a Wallflower. "I mean, I think Ann's whole thing is that she's so bland that she's barely even perceptible as a human. But she appears in a few different places, so we'll see." How do new 'Development' episodes stack up against the iconic originals? Since appearing on Arrested Development, Whitman has carved out a successful career for herself both on screen and off: she provided the voice of Katara in 59 episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and played a jilted ex in the cult classic Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. "I was lucky enough to be at the set the other day – maybe even working – and it was just incredible," Whitman said. "As somebody who was as big of a fan as I was involved in it, I was really excited to see where they would go with it. And it is just as good if not better than it originally was."
