Though nothing has officially been confirmed, Michael went ahead and spilled the beans, anyway, tweeting Tuesday: "Hey everyone, how are you. Spending most of the next week rehearsing like crazy for the Olympic closing ceremony….." He's not the only one spilling the beans… The band Muse told NME this week that they, too, will be taking part in the show. "They sowed a seed by asking us to do some music, but then five months went by. We showed them a few songs when they asked us about [playing the] closing ceremony, and they loved it. It represented the enormous competition of what the Olympics is." While full details on the sure-to-be lavish ceremony are being kept under wraps, a number of famous performers are expected to take part in the event. Among the many: Kate Bush; boy band One Direction; and a much-anticipation reunion of The Spice Girls.
