Celebuzz Olympics 2012: 4 Things You May Have Missed From Monday's Games (VIDEO) http://www.celebuzz.com/2012-08-07/olympics-2012-4-things-you-may-have-missed-from-mondays-games-video/ Aug 7th 2012, 13:30 Team USA once again gave a steady performance at the 2012 London Olympics on Monday. The key player: Soccer pro Alex Morgan, who scored a last-minute goal in the women's semifinal to beat Canada, 4-3. Sadly, not everyone from the United States did as well as Morgan. Just ask gymnast Gabby Douglas, who followed her Gold medal performance in the All-Around with a less-than-spectacular one in the Individual Uneven Bars final. Where did she place? Check out Celebuzz's highlights from Monday, below. 1.) Alex Morgan Saves Team USA Twenty-three-year-old soccer star Alex Morgan scored a game-winning goal in the 123rd minute of the women's semifinal, to clinch a victory over Canada, 4-3. Team USA will now face Japan in Thursday's final, in a rematch of last year's nail-biting World Cup ender. 2.) Gabby Douglas' Fall From Grace Two-time Gold medalist Gabby Douglas struggled a bit in the Individual Uneven Bars final, finishing in eighth place, or dead-last, with a score of 14.900. Aliya Mustafina of Russia — who finished third in the Individual All-Around — took the Gold, while Kexin He of China and Beth Tweedle of Great Britian won Silver and Bronze, respectively. Jennifer Suhr Pole Vaults to Victory Yelena Isinbayeva's quest to win three-consecutive Gold medals was put to rest by American Jennifer Suhr in the women's pole vault final, when Suh cleared her 4.75-meter jump. ( Isinbayeva ultimately leaped to a Bronze.) 4.) Brazil Earns First Medal in Gymnastics Arthur Zanetti of Brazil shocked everyone when he upset Chen Yibing of China to win Gold in the Individual Still Rings final. Zanetii — who earned a steady score of 15.900 — is the first Brazilian to win a medal in gymnastics. 14 Photos » You are receiving this email because you subscribed to this feed at http://blogtrottr.com If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe here: http://blogtrottr.com/unsubscribe/ky4/fCLJLr
