They weren't the only ones: designers around the world were filled with inspiration for the star's long-awaited second wedding, with many having very different ideas on what she should don for her walk down the aisle. Most agreed on one thing: it should look nothing like the Lawrence Steele white silk tulle, pearl-studded halter dress that the Friends star wore when she married Brad Pitt in July 2000. With that in mind, Celebuzz asked some of the world's top wedding dress designers to create the perfect gown for Aniston, and each came up with some very different ideas on how to dress the 43-year-old for her love story's very happy ending. What did they come up with? Celebrity dress designer Anne Barge, renowned for her modern take on classic silhouettes, created a stunning, romantic gown for the Wanderlust star. "Jennifer embodies a very cool and carefree spirit, so I wanted to create a design that was unique to her personality and extremely romantic," Barge said. "Delicate Guipure lace touches throughout add charm, and the sweetheart neckline and subtle peplum detail of this gown make for elegant touches." "Jennifer will embrace her California style with simple, clean lines, accenting her sunny personality with pretty accessories, including French lace and vintage style jewelry," Stefani said. The body-fitting silk crepe back satin gown features subtle pearl and beaded details throughout. "This look embodies her laid-back style while style showcasing her yoga-toned body," said Stefani. The simple shape will likely be a winner with Aniston's fiancé, 41-year-old Theroux, who himself favors simple looks — the actor/ writer almost always wears black tees and jeans. Featuring a bodice with a layered skirt, it's a striking dress that demands attention. "I created a design that balanced the Jennifer's feminine and strong side," Rivera explained. "Jennifer has always carried herself with sophistication and class," Mattingly said. "The dress that I designed is simple and refined. From its one shoulder to its ruffles, the gown certainly makes a statement. "For Jennifer, I wanted to create something that was different to her normal aesthetic," Di Santo explained. "Everything from the mermaid fit to the ornate one-shoulder dramatic bodice and back detail are completely bold and unexpected elements.
