And Celebuzz has your first look photos at Season 2's debut episode. With Season 1 averaging 3.2 million viewers an episode, the series returns to follow the troubled Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) as he goes west to escape from his past. Moving along with a traveling town as it builds the first transcontinental railroad, Bohannon finds danger at every stop. What kind of clashes can viewers expect from AMC's modern western series' return? "This railroad is a big job and there's a lot of obstacles to it – particularly the Swede," executive producer John Shiban tells Celebuzz. "So, there's going to be a lot of clashes this year, a lot of what we call 'cowboy s—t,' can we say that? But, we try to have that every week. It's a battle. It's really like a war to build this railroad and that's what we're in." celebuzz's exclusive first look at AMC's 'Hell on Wheels' premiere 11 Photos » Season 2 promises to take care of "unfinished business" as the characters reveal more of what lies under their ruddy exterior and a shadowy figure threatens the town. "Everybody wants a piece of [Cullen] on the railroad," Shiban continues. "Lily [Dominique McElligott] needs him for something, Durant [Colm Meaney] needs him for something and he has his own agenda. He's going to be central to everything in dealing with this rebel, this personality with a man on a mission is going to be everyone's problem."
